How often do I use the Wegovy pen?

You inject Wegovy once a week, on the same day each week, at any time of day, with or without food.

Why are the Wegovy pens different colors?

Wegovy is available in five strengths: 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, 1 mg, 1.7 mg, and 2.4 mg. Each strength has its own color, so you can always be sure you’re using the right pen.

Can I change the injection day?

Yes, that’s allowed—as long as the previous dose was given at least 2 days (48 hours) ago. Choose a new regular day that is easier for you to stick to.

What if the liquid in the pen is cloudy?

Use the pen only if the liquid is clear and colorless, as visible through the pen window. Is the liquid cloudy, or are there visible particles? Do not use the pen and contact us via the medical chat.

Do I need to attach a new needle?

No. The Wegovy pen is a disposable pen with a built-in, hidden needle. You do not need to attach or remove a needle yourself—throw away the entire pen after use.
